Rebranding myself
Earlier this year [pre-lockdown-001] I decided to rebrand myself as LM Design.
I made the decision to go freelance full-time in March of 2020, I thought this was a great time (despite going into a lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic) to create a new identity that I could use to encapsulate my design skills and experiences which I had learnt during my time working as a Graphic Designer at several design agencies.
I wanted to create a ‘brand’ that I felt was bold, adaptive and forward thinking. The use of varying gradient colour schemes works with my list of design services that I offer. I wanted to carry this on throughout my print and digital branding as you will notice throughout my website.
I’ve always thought that branding yourself is often the hardest job anyone will take on. Being able to constantly change and tweak elements until you are fully satisfied can be a bit of a challenge. However, with my constantly evolving set of skills and services I feel that I have managed to capture the essence of this.
It’s taken me a while to post out to the world as I’ve been busy on a number of projects, but it’s great to look back now and reflect on the wild journey that has been 2020!
